Oh Boy, It’s The Super Bowl! And, Yes, I’m Talking About A Gigantic Bowl Filled With Snacks!

Get ready — here it comes! It’s the Super Bowl, that gigantic bowl of snacks, probably three, and a counter filled with lots of smaller than normal meats. Your goal, if you want to play (and you do), is to eat as much as possible without throwing up! So plan accordingly, assess the spread — and I’m not talking about gambling or anything having to do with actual sports!

Go ahead, check out all those appetizers and various versions of tiny hot dog! Off to the side, there’s the mini crescent dogs, and, up the middle, the little smokies. But, yum, there’s also food shaped like balls, macaroni balls and mini meatballs, both by the end zone, I mean end table!

You rarely see such small meats, all in one place, or so many bigger foods, miniaturized in ball shape. But, on this special, once-in-a-year-day, you can honor a majestic food-on-toothpick tradition, while tuning out the football game in the background. (The background football is required for some reason — maybe it makes the meat feel more comfortable, I really don’t know.)

First up, with the on-screen coin flip, you can grab some chips and dip! Still warming up, you might consider some veggies. But, obviously, only if there’s ranch, which of course there is. When the old pigskin starts flying, that’s when, more importantly, the pigs-n-a-blanket appear. Score!
